Your booking button should be visible, easy to find, and everywhere. It should link directly to your scheduling system and show clear pricing and availability.


2. A Simple, Transparent Service Menu

Clients want to know what you offer and what it costs. Even if you don’t list exact pricing, “starting at” info helps people make informed decisions—and prevents sticker shock.


3. Mobile-Friendly Design

Over 70% of site visitors are on mobile. If your site isn’t clean, clickable, and readable on a phone, you’re likely losing potential clients before they even inquire.


4. A Personal + Engaging About Me Page

A high-quality headshot, your “why,” and a fun personal fact make your site feel human. Clients want to know who they’ll be spending 2+ hours with—it builds trust before the appointment even begins.


5. Real Testimonials + Reviews

Social proof matters. Include a few glowing reviews or screenshots from your DMs. Hearing from real clients adds credibility and comfort for potential ones.


6. High-Quality Photos

Skip the stock images. Show off your space, your work, and yourself. Interior, exterior, action shots, and transformation photos all help people visualize their visit.


7. A Frequently Asked Questions Section

What’s your cancellation policy? Do you take walk-ins? How should someone prep for a blonding appointment? Answer these common questions once on your site and save yourself a hundred DMs.


8. Policies & Pricing Page

This is where you can set expectations and protect your boundaries. Cancellation, late arrival, deposits—lay it all out clearly. You’ll thank yourself later.


9. Working Social Media Links

Double-check that your Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Pinterest links actually work (you’d be shocked how often they don’t). Make it easy for clients to stalk you in the best way possible.


10. An Email Opt-In or Lead Magnet

This is such an underused strategy in the beauty industry. Offer a freebie (like a hair care guide or new client checklist) in exchange for an email address—it positions you as the expert and keeps you connected to potential clients even if they don’t book right away.


Why It Matters

In 2025, having just a booking link or relying solely on Instagram isn’t going to cut it. Your website is your real estate. You own it. Social media? That’s borrowed space. If it disappeared tomorrow, would clients still be able to find you?

Having a website is more than just “looking professional”—it’s about creating ease for your clients and showcasing the experience you offer before they even walk through the door.
